1. Any four cylinder
car or truck. No all-wheel drives. No super chargers or
turbo chargers.
2. 2 or 4 door cars
allowed. Doors must be welded or bolted shut.
3. Must remove all
flammable materials, except the dashboard.
4. A racing seat is
required and must be bolted to roll cage, not to floor pan.
5. Must have a
five-point competition racing harness. No factory seat belts.
6. Car must be
completely stock.
7. Must remove all
glass, molding, plastics & chrome trim.
8. Must have 4 point
roll cage welded to plates.
9. Must have at least
2 door bars on drivers' side and 1 on passenger side.
10. Must have 3 window
bars in front on the driver's side.
11. Roll bar must be
padded in drivers' area.
12. Cars must be
painted & lettered neatly. 18" number minimum. Must have
numbers on both doors and the roof.
13. Snell 85 or 95 approved
racing helmet is required.
14. A fire retardant
suit is required.
l5. No racing
tires. Only street radial or bias ply tires permitted.
16. No bead lock
wheels will be permitted.
17. Car must be
equipped with a fully charged fire extinguisher with working gauge.
18. Battery must
be securely mounted as deemed by inspector and located away from
driver.
The above rules are
set to provide for the orderly conduct of all racing programs at the
Cannonball Motor Speedway. Rules are intended to be used as a guideline
and in NO way guarantee against injury or death to its participants.
Anything not covered should be checked with officials before
proceeding.
